Wedding Photography at Stourhead, Wiltshire – Bronwen and Paula – 18th July 2014
I loved photographing this wedding at Stourhead! It was such a relaxed and fun day from start to end. Both brides shared a fantastic sense of humour and they were such warm and open people I felt like I had known them for longer than just a few hours. Both families and friends were also very friendly and fun to be around, so my job as wedding photographer was really made easy!
I arrived at Stourhead and felt lucky that although rain and storms had been threatened, it looked as though it was going to hold for the day at least! I bumped into Lesley from Country Wedding Flowers with her stunning bouquets and then I nipped up to meet the brides and their entourage of doggies!!
Doggies played a critical role in the proceedings of the day and really took to posing in front of the camera. I love photographing dogs at Weddings especially if they have their own little outfits! You will see what I mean by checking out the photographs below!
Photographing weddings at Stourhead is always a pleasure. At every time of year it is simply stunning and this summer wedding was no exception. The brides looked gorgeous as they made their way up the steep hill towards the Temple of Apollo with their guests awaiting them and taking in the amazing views of the Lake and Pantheon.
There were lots of photographs after the ceremony with fun and silly pics being the order of the day! Then all the guests made their way down to the lovely Spread Eagle Inn for more photographs and food. After the meal the brides held a session of games which had family and friends in fits of giggles and with some becoming very competitive!!
It was pleasure to photograph Bronwen and Paula’s amazing Stourhead Wedding!
