For this portrait shoot I was photographing a friend and her family as a special gift for her parents. This was going to be three siblings and their partners and six children between them! Sounds like a fin day to me!!
They wanted some fun and natural photographs using different combinations of family members so I headed over to Corsham for the shoot and we started in the playing fields.
There was an interesting stone wall which i thought made a great textured backdrop and with the period houses in the background too it was working really well. We did a few different groupings and then some fun and silly shots with just the kids. Before the rain started to come down, so we set up camp at Jonathan’s house and throughout the morning managed to get some more studio style images of each family and all the grandchildren together. Even though some were not so keen on having their photograph taken, with a little gentle persuasion, including all the great bribes like food and toys, we managed to get the shots in the bag!
As with all families I work with, I really get to know them and feel very lucky and privileged to have a small incite into their family life together. Its a fun and happy time and hopefully I will be able to give them and the rest of their family a special reminder of that time in their life. Thank you Noalls for such a fun filled morning!!
