Country Wedding Photography – Redlyntch, Salisbury, Hampshire – Tim and Emma Aviss – 2nd August 2014
This beautiful Hampshire wedding was a real pleasure to photograph. With Emma and Tim being a wonderful fun couple to be around!
With the weather at the start of the day beginning with torrential rain there was a complete turn around at exactly the time Emma was due to leave the house, so by 1pm it turned into blue skies and sunshine. It really was going to be a stunning english country wedding – and for once the weather was doing the right thing at the right time! Perfect!
The bridal preparations and reception took place at Emmas Grannys house, a fantastic home in the wonderful Hampshire countryside called Templemans Old Farm House and it truly was the most amazing setting to photograph a wedding.
In the morning Emma was surrounded by her five bridesmaids and her parents. Everything was pretty busy with the last minute preparations for the marquee, as well hair and makeup and of course a few glasses of champagne in the offing too!
For this wedding I had the help of a very talented second shooter Laurie Lapworth, so as I photographed the Bride and the girls, Laurie was over at the church working with Tim and the ushers. The lovely church of Lover was the location for the ceremony and as Emma and Tim said their vows in front of all their family and friends, it was all quite emotional. They were then whisked away in a gorgeous vintage Rolls Royce.
Guests were welcomed to the reception by the fabulous sounds of the Acoustic Jazz Band and as I photographed the family groups Laurie captured some really lovely natural photographs of all the wedding guests having drinks and canapés.
I don’t often come to Hampshire to photograph weddings, but I have to say this part of the country is just stunning and this beautiful old house was really the most wonderful backdrop for a wedding reception. After some hilarious speeches the couple took to the stage for their first dance and I ended my day of photography with the wedding party throwing some shapes on the dance floor!
Emma and Tim were a pleasure to be with on their special day and all their friends and family were such fun to be around too. I think the images really capture the sprit and atmosphere of the day!
